The Fresh Connection Simulation:
Efficiencies in Your Supply Chain

You cannot fully garner the benefits of your efficiencies on behalf of your customers if your folks don’t know your supply chain strategy.  They will work hard, and to the best of their ability, but there is a high probability they will and are making decisions that are not aligned with and in support of the strategy.  Without these two elements, you cannot fully deploy your efficiencies on behalf of customers. This session, utilizing the supply chain simulation “The Fresh Connection,” will demonstrate how most supply chains operate in this “non-efficient” way and the resulting impact on the supply chain. We’ll then brainstorm the framework for a map an organization MUST embark upon to develop an effective and efficient supply chain, responsive to the customer.

Who should attend: Leaders of supply chain in their company, co-workers who actively make daily supply chain decisions, employees who play an analyst or support role within their supply chain, professionals from supply chain functions such as distribution and transportation as well as those who collaborate with the supply chain profession such as human resources, engineering, quality and sales.

Panel Discussion: The Efficiency Impact of Disruptive Trends Like CBD on Your Supply Chain – What We Know, Don’t Know, and Continue to Speculate Regarding the Regulation and Standards of this Supposed Panacea.

Consumer demand for CBD products is skyrocketing across the United States. Yet the lack of clear, consistent and aligned national regulations for these products, and the absence of methodical testing, threshold and safety requirements brings product safety into question. Without a clear regulatory framework, companies are forced to make sense of and comply with a maze of inconsistent, and often contradictory, state and local regulations. Join these three regulatory executives as they help attendees make sense of the current regulations, and what we can expect for the future.
Who Should Attend: Those seeking to learn more about the manufacturing regulations surrounding CBD in consumer products.
