In this session, Alex Scottfrom the University of Tennessee-Knoxville will discuss the FleetSustainability Index (FSI) which measures and ranks the sustainability ofhundreds of thousands of trucking companies based on the equipment they use.
The FSI enables users, suchas shippers, brokers, and third-party logistics providers, to estimate theiremissions using easily accessible data and select carriers based on theirsustainability profile. The FSI is based on millions of direct observationsfrom authoritative third-party sources and the methodology aligns with majorinternational reporting standards.
